Private Security Benefits for Business Clients

We recently began working with a company that had been trying to staff their own security guards. While they were able to hire these employees, their work ended up being disappointing and prompted this business to call us. There are benefits to working with a private security partner. They start with freeing you up so you can focus on your business.

Focusing on What You do Best

Using a private security vendor allows your staff to focus on your company’s core competency. That is, after all, what it does best. Leave the screening, hiring and training of guards to those who know that industry best, private security.

Reducing Your Security Budget

Bringing in an outside security partner will also be a less expensive option than employing guards yourself. We can provide trained and experienced guards at your business for much less than the salary and benefits of an employee.

Private Security Guards are Checked, Licensed and Trained

Nearly all 50 states require guards to be licensed. Ten states only require a state background check, while 30 others require a F.B.I. Background Check. California is one of them.

In fact, the State of California requires applicants to undergo a criminal history background check through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Thirty-five states have training requirements that applicants must meet, as well. California is particularly stringent, ensuring a higher caliber of officers in this state. Security guards must complete the Power to Arrest training, 32 hours in security officer skills and eight hours of continuing training each year.

On top of the California requirements, American Security Force officers must complete additional classroom instruction and in-field training.

What it All Means

A private security vendor is the entity best positioned to supply and handle security for businesses. Why? Put simply, because it is what we do.

American Security Force is proud to be in this industry. We are competing with other firms everyday. So we keep up with the latest security trends and practices that will help our clients.

W also build upon what the State of California requires of officers. Our additional training ensures that our guards are ready to recognize, deter and halt any threat that might present itself.
